Paula Mickutė born in 2002 Vilnius, Lithuania is a Lithuanian contemporary artist and researcher whose practice explores identity, self-perception, vulnerability, and the complexities of contemporary womanhood. Working primarily in painting alongside mixed media, installation, and sculptural elements, she uses personal experience and autoethnographic methods as a starting point for her work.
Through an intuitive and reflective approach, Mickutė investigates themes of belonging, self-worth, emotional tension, and the relationship between the inner and outer self. Her work transforms personal narratives into visual experiences that invite viewers to reflect on their own emotions, memories, and sense of identity.
